The name Doulos comes from Romans 6:18:
“You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.”
“Doulos” is the Greek word for bondservant or slave, used in the New Testament to describe the believer’s complete devotion and joyful submission to Christ. We chose this name to reflect our desire to live as those who have been bought with a price and now walk in obedience to the One who set us free.
Our identity in Christ is not casual—it’s transformative. We are no longer slaves to sin but servants of righteousness. Doulos is a reminder that true freedom is found in surrender to Jesus.
